On March 5-6, 2025, our talented students from Sri Showme Primary School participated in the MSSD 2025 Chess Tournament (Primary School Division) at SMK Agama Dato Haji Abbas Hall. This prestigious event was organized by Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Daerah (MSSD) and gathered young chess enthusiasts from various schools to showcase their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

A Platform for Young Minds to Compete and Grow

The tournament provided an excellent opportunity for our students to test their skills, compete against other young talents, and gain valuable experience in a high-level chess competition. It was more than just a gameβ€”it was a chance to develop critical thinking, patience, and focus.

A Proud Moment for Sri Showme!

Our students demonstrated great sportsmanship, determination, and strategic thinking throughout the tournament. Whether they won or learned valuable lessons from each match, every participant made us proud by representing Sri Showme with passion and excellence.

Congratulations to All Participants!

We applaud the dedication of our students and the hard work they put into preparing for this competition. A special thanks to our coaches, teachers, and parents for their unwavering support and encouragement.

This tournament was just the beginningβ€”we look forward to more achievements and opportunities for our students in the future!
