At Sri Arini School, we believe in providing hands-on learning experiences that make education engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable. Our recent cooking class gave students the opportunity to explore baking through a fun and interactive session.
During this activity, students learned to prepare Red Velvet Cake and Chocolate Cake. From mixing the ingredients to carefully decorating their creations, students were actively involved in every step of the baking process.
The session was designed to introduce basic baking skills while also encouraging important learning values. Students were guided to follow instructions, remain focused throughout the process, and work collaboratively with their peers. This helped to strengthen their teamwork skills and build confidence in trying new tasks.
In addition, students were encouraged to express their creativity through cake decoration, allowing them to personalise their work and take pride in their achievements.
At Sri Arini School, we emphasise experiential learning where students learn by doing. Activities like cooking not only develop practical life skills but also create enjoyable and memorable learning experiences that support holistic development.
