At Sri Showme Primary Finnish Inspired School in Kuala Terengganu, learning goes beyond the classroom — and straight into the garden!

Recently, our students participated in a Gardening Class designed to cultivate more than just plants. It was a hands-on learning session where they experienced the joy and responsibility of preparing the soil — a vital step before planting anything.

Here’s what our students learned during this fun and educational activity:

2️⃣ How to properly prepare the soil before planting – With guidance from our teachers, they practiced getting the soil ready the right way — an important foundation for any successful garden.

3️⃣ Using basic gardening tools – The students also gained confidence in handling basic gardening tools, helping them understand how to create the best environment for their plants to thrive.
